Free boiler

Who Can Get a Free Boiler?

Please note only those in receipt of certain benefits will fit the criteria to claim a free and also based on site survey and size of property.

boiler grant.  Also, the boiler to be replaced must be at least 7 years old (non condensing), or, be between 5-8 years old but carry a fault which affects its overall effectiveness and operation. It must be deemed by an engineer to be ‘beyond economical’ repair.

Again the style of property in which you live is also taken into consideration.  The more aged and in-efficient your property is the more advantageous it will be and the more funding you will gain to use towards the grant.

However If you have a very efficient property, you may need to assist with a small contribution to cover the cost of the installation.

Finally, you must be connected on a mains gas, oil or LPG supply.  Boiler Grants are now also available to those in off gas areas.

Free Boilers for low income Homes

Free boilers backed by government initiative are being placed in low-income homes everywhere in the United Kingdom for those who meet the qualifying criteria.

Please take note if you are in receipt of tax credits and your income is below £16,000 then you could qualify for the boilers.

All you need to do to move forward is to complete our short online application form and we will be able to assist you with the rest.  A member of our team will contact you and discuss the next steps to take in this procedure.  Our local installers will complete the work for you.

Who pays for it?  The Boiler grants are funded by the ‘big six’ energy suppliers who are now obliged to fund the installation of energy saving improvements to vulnerable homes throughout the UK.

These grants have been running for a couple of years now and millions have already been installed.  We have also successfully accomplished thousands of eco initiative projects already.

The amount of funding which you can claim for from a  grant is determined by how efficient your property currently is. If you qualify online, a free survey will need to be completed of your home which will allow us to look at things like your current boiler type and insulation levels etc.  In many of the cases the boilers are free of charge.

To replace an old, broken or low efficient boiler you could be looking at costs over £3000. Luckily under the ECO scheme, all who are in receipt of Pension Credit (not to be confused with a standard state pension) could claim a grant to have theirs replaced free of charge, or heavily subsidised subject to site survey.
